According to the National Weather Service's Philadelphia/Mount Holly office, between one and three inches of rain fell across the area, ending early Thursday, Dec. 28.
The town that got the most amount of rain is Washington Township (Warren County), with 3.38 inches, the weather service said.
Bernards Township in Somerset County saw 3.24 inches and Randolph in Morris County saw 3.03 inches. Click here to see totals as of 11:50 a.m.
Sussex County got between 2.05 and 2.53 inches; Somerset County got between 2.04 and 3.24 inches; Salem County got approximately 2.5 inches; Ocean County got approximately 1.5 inches; Morris County got between 2.10 and 3.03 inches; Monmouth County got between 1.83 and 2.09 inches; Middlesex County got between 1.80 and 2.11 inches; Mercer County got between 1.37 and 2.17 inches; Hunterdon County got between 2.03 and 2.85 inches; Gloucester County got between 1.19 and 1.62 inches; Cape May and Cumberland counties got about 1.5 inches; and Atlantic, Burlington, and Camden got one inch, more or less, the NWS said.
A flood warning remains in effect, mainly for the western portion of the state.
